About the Role

Experience in sheet metal fabrication and related manufacturing processes will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily shop floor production activities.
- Effectively allocate daily production jobs and manpower based on priority and capacity.
- Monitor progress of ongoing jobs and ensure adherence to production schedules.
- Assess productivity, workmanship, and efficiency of operators and technicians.
- Coordinate with Planning, Design, Quality, Stores, and Maintenance departments.
- Ensure proper utilization of machines, tools, materials, and manpower.
- Monitor fabrication, welding, assembly, and finishing activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved within timeline and quality requirements.
- Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions.
- Maintain production records, reports, and shift handover documentation.
- Enforce workplace discipline,



safety practices, and 5S standards.
- Train and guide shop floor workers and junior staff.
- Ensure smooth shift operations and workforce coordination.

Required Skills:
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and manage shop floor teams effectively.
- Good understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Solid planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to assess workload and prioritize production activities.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Basic computer knowledge including MS Excel and ERP systems.
