Education:
- Minimum 15 years of regular, full time education (10 + 2 + 3)Non-technical graduation in finance & accounts stream
- B.Com, M.Com or similarEssential Requirements:
1. Month End Close & Reporting
- Ensure accurate and timely month end, quarter end, and year end close activities.
- Review and post complex journal entries and accruals.
- Validate P&L; and Balance Sheet movements; perform variance analysis and commentary.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and internal accounting policies.

2. Balance Sheet Governance
- Oversee preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure documentation, audit readiness, and timely closure of reconciling items.
- Support internal/external audits by providing explanations and supporting documents.

3. Intercompany Accounting
- Manage intercompany transactions, settlements, mismatches, and reconciliations.
- Drive adherence to transfer pricing and intercompany policies.




- Partner with global entities to resolve disputes and mismatches.

4. Fixed Assets & Capital Accounting
- Oversee asset additions, disposals, transfers, depreciation runs, and capitalization.
- Review CIP (Construction in Progress) and ensure policy adherence.
- Support physical verification and impairment analysis.

5. Process Expertise & Issue Resolution
- Act as the first point of escalation for complex accounting and system issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective/preventive actions.
- Support process alignment and standard operating procedure (SOP) updates.

6. Stakeholder & Governance Support
- Work with Controllers, FP&A;, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and external auditors.
- Provide reporting packs, flux analysis, and governance dashboards.
- Participate in global finance governance calls as the process SME.

- Identify lean/process improvement opp
