CAREER CHANCE: Chemist - Mineral Analysis & Quality Control
- M.Sc. in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Industrial Chemistry
- B.Sc. Chemistry with strong laboratory experience in mineral or industrial laboratories
- Specialisation in mineral analysis, analytical chemistry or process chemistry will be preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum 2-10 years of experience in:
- Mineral testing laboratories
- Mining or mineral beneficiation laboratories
- Industrial process laboratories
- Chemical or metallurgical testing laboratories

Preference:
- Graphite or mineral ore analysis laboratories
- Beneficiation plant process monitoring laboratories
- Industrial mineral testing laboratories
- Knowledge of ISO / NABL laboratory practices will be an added advantage.

A. Mineral Analysis & Laboratory Testing
- Conduct chemical and physical analysis of graphite ore, concentrate and finished products.
- Determination of Fixed Carbon (FC%), Ash Content, Volatile Matter, Moisture and other relevant parameters.
- Testing and evaluation of ore samples from mining areas and beneficiation circuits.




- Ensuring accurate analysis of raw materials, intermediate products and finished graphite products.

B. Process Monitoring & Quality Control
- Monitor beneficiation plant performance through laboratory testing and analysis.
- Provide analytical inputs for process optimisation and product quality improvement.
- Support plant operations in maintaining consistent product quality standards.

C. Laboratory Operations
- Supervise and manage laboratory equipment, instruments and testing procedures.
- Muffle Furnace
- Analytical Weighing Balance
- Moisture Analyzer
- Vacuum Filter Unit
- Laboratory Dryer
- Ensure proper sample preparation, testing procedures and laboratory safety practices.

D. Quality Assurance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate laboratory registers, worksheets, test reports and quality records.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly laboratory reports.
