Responsibilities

Ø Plan and deliver energetic dance lessons for primary/middle/secondary levels, focusing on technique, creativity, and cultural diversity.

Ø Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages self-expression and confidence.

Ø Assess student progress through performances, practical demonstrations, and skill-based evaluations.

Ø Provide constructive feedback to students and parents, highlighting achievements and growth areas.

Ø Organize and coordinate school dance recitals, competitions, and collaborative performances.

Ø Collaborate with other teachers to integrate dance into interdisciplinary themes (e.g., history, literature, festivals).

Ø Manage dance resources, costumes, and equipment while ensuring a safe and organized space for dancing.

Ø Promote awareness of diverse dance forms (classical, contemporary, folk, etc.) and encourage fitness discipline.
Skills

Ø Proficiency in multiple dance styles (e.g., Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Contemporary, Ballet, or Folk).

Ø Strong knowledge of dance theory, history,



and CBSE performing arts standards.

Ø Ability to motivate students and adapt instruction for varying skill levels.

Ø Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Ø Tech-savvy (e.g., experience with music/video editing tools for performances).
