Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end import processes and shipment coordination.
- Prepare and verify import-related documents such as Purchase Orders, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading, and Certificates of Origin.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs clearing agents.
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of imported materials.
- Monitor import compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions and documentation.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department for vendor payments, duty payments, and reconciliation.
- Verify invoices and ensure proper accounting documentation.
- Assist in inventory planning and procurement activities.
- Resolve shipment and documentation issues efficiently.

Required Skills:




- Good knowledge of import procedures and documentation.
- Understanding of international trade terms (Incoterms).
- Basic knowledge of accounting concepts and commercial transactions.
- Familiarity with GST, customs duty, and import-related compliance.
- Strong coordination, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
