Plant Operation
- Operate reactors, distillation columns, pumps, dryers, and other process equipment
- Follow SOPs for batch charging, processing, and discharge
- Monitor temperature, pressure, flow, and other parameters
Material Handling
- Charge raw materials as per batch sheet
- Handle chemicals safely (liquids, powders, hazardous materials)
- Transfer finished goods to storage or next process
Process Monitoring
- Record readings in log sheets (hourly/daily)
- Identify deviations and inform supervisor
- Take corrective actions as instructed
Safety Compliance
- Follow PPE requirements (gloves, mask, helmet, etc.)
- Adhere to safety procedures and emergency protocols
- Handle hazardous chemicals carefully
Housekeeping
- Maintain cleanliness of plant area
- Follow 5S practices
Coordination
- Work with maintenance team during breakdowns
- Coordinate with QC for sampling
Documentation
- Maintain batch records and logbooks
- Report production data accurately
