Roles and Responsibilities1. Fabrication Work
- Perform cutting, bending, welding, grinding, and fitting of metal materials.
- Fabricate components and structures as per technical drawings and instructions.
- Carry out assembly of fabricated parts as per required specifications.

2. Reading Drawings and Measurements
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, layouts, and dimensions.
- Take accurate measurements before fabrication work.
- Ensure fabrication work meets required design and quality standards.

3. Repair and Maintenance Support
- Perform repair or modification of damaged structures or equipment.
- Support maintenance activities related to fabricated components.
- Assist in installation and adjustment of fabricated structures.

4. Material Handling and Usage
- Handle raw materials, tools, and fabrication equipment properly.
- Ensure optimal utilization of material to minimize wastage.
- Report material shortages or defects to supervisor.

5. Equipment and Tool Maintenance
- Use fabrication tools, welding machines, and equipment safely.




- Maintain tools and machines in proper working condition.
- Report equipment breakdowns or repair needs.

6. Quality Control
- Check finished fabrication work for dimensions, fitting, and quality.
- Ensure work is completed as per approved standards and specifications.
- Rectify defects or deviations identified during inspection.

7. Safety and Compliance
- Follow safety procedures, work instructions, and plant regulations.
- Use PPE while performing fabrication activities.
- Maintain compliance with workplace safety and quality standards.

8. Housekeeping and Coordination
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and fabrication tools.
- Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams when required.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by management.

Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Fabrication, Welder, Fitter or relevant trade.
- Relevant technical certification preferred.

Experience
- 1-3 years of relevant fab
