Gas Cutter

Location: [Chennai, Tamil Nadu]

Salary: [22,100 to 23,400]

Responsibilities:
Operate gas cutting equipment (oxy-acetylene/oxy-fuel) safely and efficiently

Cut metal plates, pipes, and structural components as per specifications

Read and interpret technical drawings and cutting plans

Measure and mark materials for accurate cutting

Maintain and inspect cutting equipment regularly

Ensure proper handling of gas cylinders and related tools

Assist in fabrication and fitting work when required

Follow all safety procedures and workplace regulations

Requirements:
ITI / Trade certificate in Gas Cutting, Fitter, or related field

Proven experience as a Gas Cutter or similar role

Knowledge of oxy-fuel cutting techniques





Ability to read basic drawings and measurements

Positive hand-eye coordination and attention to detail

Physical stamina and ability to work in industrial environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in construction, shipyard, or fabrication industry

Basic welding or fabrication knowledge

Safety training or certification
