About the Role:
We are seeking a Facilitator & Counselor who will play a pivotal role in delivering the Foundation Course (FC), mentoring youth, and ensuring skilling and placement outcomes. This position combines facilitation, counseling, technology adoption, and student leadership development.
Your role in supplementing the Organisational goals:
1. Foundation Course Facilitation
- Facilitate the Foundation Course (FC) for students, ensuring all workbook activities are completed.
- Plan creative activities to maintain student engagement and interest in the program.
2. Counseling & Skilling Enrollment
- Conduct individual counseling sessions for FC students to identify career aspirations and address challenges.
- Ensure timely completion of counseling, leading to skilling course completion and placement readiness.
- Maintain updated counseling reports (online sheet) for every batch and ensure sign-off from the Centre Head.
- Address underlying psycho-social issues and conduct family counseling in coordination with the Outreach Coordinator where required.
3.
Technology & Data Management
- Deploy and ensure adoption of Lighthouse technology platforms for FC and counseling processes.
- Maintain accurate, clean data to support program implementation.
4. Student Leadership Development
- Identify and mentor students per batch as Lighthouse leaders.
- Mentor includes fostering values, work ethics, sustained placement, and active participation in community initiatives.
- Encourage student involvement in volunteering, sessions, events, and the online Lighthouse community.
- 5. Center Administration & Culture
- Support the Centre Head in ensuring smooth functioning of the centre.
- Uphold Lighthouse culture in line with donor commitments, vision, mission, and values.
- Support administration, logistics, and planning of engaging activities for FC students.
Eligibility & Experience
- Graduate or Postgraduate degree (Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work preferred):
