About Fur-Real

Fur-Real is a pet lifestyle brand focused on creating thoughtfully designed products for pets and pet parents. Our goal is to make products that feel fun, relatable, and emotionally connected to the personalities of different dog breeds.

Instead of generic pet graphics, we focus on ideas that tell a story and connect with pet owners. Our products include items such as bandanas, collars, leashes, bows, pet hoodies, pet beds, toys, and more, where the design itself becomes the reason someone wants to buy the product.

At the same time, the brand exists for a purpose beyond products. We want to spread awareness about adopting rather than buying pets and support dogs in need, including abandoned and stray dogs, because we believe every animal deserves love, care, and a happy life.

Role Overview

As an Apparel Graphic Design Intern, you will work closely with our design team to create graphics for pet products and apparel.

A big part of this role is thinking of ideas before designing them. We care a lot about brainstorming and understanding dog behavior, breed personality,



and the small moments that pet owners relate to.

The goal is not just to make something that looks nice, but to create designs that make a pet owner instantly smile and feel connected to their dog.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include
- Work with the design team to brainstorm ideas for new product graphics.
- Think about dog breed personalities and behaviors and turn those observations into design ideas.
- Create graphics using Canva and Adobe Illustrator.
- Develop visuals for products such as pet hoodies and other pet accessories.
- Assist in creating visual content for online platforms and social media.
- Take part in discussions where recent design ideas are explored and refined.
- Help organize and maintain design files and creative assets.
