The Export Documentation Executive is responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing all export-related documents for rice shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, customer requirements, and banking norms.

Key Responsibilities:1. Export Documentation
- Prepare and process export documents such as:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading (B/L)
- Certificate of Origin
- Fumigation Certificate
- Phytosanitary Certificate
- Insurance Certificate
- Ensure all documents comply with LC (Letter of Credit) terms or contract conditions.

2. Banking & LC Handling
- Review and understand LC terms before shipment.
- Prepare and submit documents to banks for negotiation under LC.
- Coordinate with banks for discrepancies and amendments.
- Handle DP / DA / Advance payment documentation.

3. Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- CHA (Custom House Agent)
- Shipping lines / Freight forwarders
- Inspection agencies (SGS, Intertek, etc.)
- Government authorities (APEDA, Customs, etc.)
- Ensure timely vessel planning and shipment execution.

Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensure compliance with export regulations, customs requirements, and country-specific import norms.
- Maintain records as per DGFT, GST, and export policies.
- Handle export incentives documentation (like RoDTEP, Duty Drawback).

5. Shipment Tracking & Reporting
- Track shipment status and update buyers regularly.
- Maintain shipment records and MIS reports.
- Handle post-shipment documentation and follow-ups.

6. Problem Handling
- Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies.
- Handle claims related to documentation errors.
- Ensure smooth clearance at destination.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Logistics / International Business
- 2-5 years experience in export documentation (preferably rice or agro commodities)
- Solid knowledge of:
- Export procedures
- LC documentation
- Shipping terms (Incoterms)
- Familiarity with DGFT, Customs,
