Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the assigned discipline.
- Develop and update course materials, syllabi, assessments, and instructional strategies.
- Employ effective, inclusive, and creative teaching methodologies.
- Advice and mentor students on academic and career matters.
- Supervise student research projects, theses, or dissertations (as appropriate).
Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD or equivalent terminal degree in the relevant field (completed or near completion by start date).
- Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Postdoctoral experience or prior teaching experience at the university level.
- Evidence of scholarly publications or research in progress.
- Experience with grant writing or funded research projects.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and service.
