Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily welding and fabrication activities as per production schedule.
- Supervise fabrication of transformer tanks, radiator panels, headers, conservators, and related components.
- Manage welders, fitters, grinders, and helpers for optimum productivity.
- Ensure welding as per approved drawings, specifications, and WPS.
- Monitor fit-up, alignment, welding parameters, and distortion control.
- Ensure leak-proof welding quality for tanks and radiators.
- Coordinate hydro test, pneumatic test, vacuum test, and quality inspections.
- Reduce rejection, rework, and production delays.
- Ensure availability of welding consumables, gases, tools, and machines.
- Maintain safety standards, PPE compliance, and housekeeping.

Requirements:




- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Welding / Fabrication or equivalent.
- 5+ years experience in transformer tank / radiator fabrication.
- Positive knowledge of MIG, TIG, SMAW, FCAW welding processes.
- Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
- Strong leadership and team handling skills.
- Knowledge of leak testing and quality standards preferred.
