Job Title: Fitter

Location: UAIL Site, Tikiri, Rayagada, Odisha

Experience: 3-5 Years

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and fit mechanical components and equipment
- Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and blueprints
- Perform alignment of motors, pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors
- Carry out maintenance and repair of machinery and structures
- Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, grinding, drilling, and fitting
- Ensure proper measurement, leveling, and positioning of components
- Inspect equipment and identify faults for corrective action
- Follow safety procedures and maintain workplace discipline
- Coordinate with welders, technicians, and supervisors for smooth execution

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of fitting, assembly, and maintenance work
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings




- Knowledge of tools like vernier caliper, micrometer, and measuring instruments
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems and industrial equipment
- Problem-solving ability and attention to detail

Qualification:
- ITI in Fitter / Mechanical Trade or equivalent

Preferred Industry Experience:
- Steel Plant / Power Plant / Cement Industry / Heavy Engineering / Projects

Salary:
- ₹18,000 - ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience & skills)
