Installation: Installing new HVAC units, including air conditioners, furnaces, and heat pumps, in accordance with safety standards and building codes.

Maintenance: Performing routine maintenance such as cleaning ducts, changing filters, and lubricating components to ensure system longevity and efficiency.

Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults, identifying maintenance risks, and replacing faulty parts (e.g., motors, compressors).

System Testing: Testing pipe/tubing joints for leaks using pressure gauges, and testing electrical circuits and components.

Refrigerant Management: Handling, charging, and recovering refrigerants in compliance with environmental regulations.

Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of repairs, maintenance tasks, and service calls.

Customer Service: Communicating with clients, providing technical advice, and explaining repairs.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education:



A completed ITI certificate in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (RAC), Electrician, or Fitter trades.

Experience: 0-3+ years, with many positions open to freshers (0-2 years) and offering on-the-job training.

Technical Knowledge: Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy components (50+ lbs), work in confined spaces (attics/basements), and climb ladders.

Tools Proficiency: Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and vacuum pumps.

Soft Skills: Robust problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and a customer-oriented attitude.
