Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform ELISA tests for:
- Hormones (TSH, T3, T4, etc.)
- Infectious markers (HIV, HBsAg, HCV, etc.)
- Tumor markers
- Vitamin assays
- Handle sample collection, processing, centrifugation, and storage.
- Prepare reagents, standards, and controls as per SOP.
- Operate ELISA readers and washers.
- Maintain internal and external quality control records.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of ELISA equipment.
- Accurately document and enter reports in LIS.
- Follow NABL/ISO quality standards (if applicable).
- Maintain inventory of kits and consumables.
- Ensure adherence to safety and biomedical waste disposal guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- DMLT / BMLT / B.Sc.
MLT / B.Sc. Biochemistry
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience in ELISA testing
- Knowledge of immunoassay principles and laboratory SOPs
- Basic computer knowledge (LIS handling preferred)
Required Skills:
- Robust understanding of ELISA principles and procedures
- Attention to detail and analytical ability
- Good pipetting technique and sample handling
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Time management and accuracy in reporting
Preferred:
- Experience in NABL-accredited laboratory
- Exposure to automated ELISA platforms
- Knowledge of quality control and documentation
