Job Summary

The Inventory Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records of musical instruments, accessories, and related products. The role ensures optimal stock levels, minimizes losses, supports sales operations, and maintains proper storage and handling of instruments to preserve quality.

Key Responsibilities1. Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of musical instruments (guitars, keyboards, drums, violins, wind instruments, etc.) and accessories.
- Track serial numbers for high-value instruments.
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts.
- Reconcile physical stock with ERP/system records.
- Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage (humidity, temperature control for wooden instruments).

2. Stock Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
- Analyze sales trends to forecast demand.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Handle slow-moving and obsolete inventory.

3. Warehouse Operations
- Supervise receiving, inspection, and storage of incoming instruments.




- Ensure protected handling of fragile and premium instruments.
- Oversee packing and dispatch for retail stores, dealers, and online orders.

4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate documentation of inward/outward goods.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
- Track damaged, returned, or defective items.
- Maintain warranty and service stock records.

5. System & Compliance
- Update ERP or inventory management software.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit standards.
- Assist in internal and external audits.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management (experience in musical instruments or retail preferred).
- Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Understanding of handling delicate/fragile products is an advantage.
