Reports To: FOH Supervisor / Restaurant Manager
Job Summary
The Dining Area Host/Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, managing seating, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. The role ensures a positive guest experience through attentive service, proper table management, and coordination with the service and kitchen teams.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Greet guests politely and assist with seating
- Guide guests on dine-in procedures and table availability
- Respond to basic guest queries and requests
- Coordinate with FOH team to manage guest flow during peak hours
Dining Area Management
- Monitor cleanliness of dining area, tables, and service stations
- Clear and reset tables promptly after guest departure
- Maintain water stations, condiments, and tray return areas
- Ensure restrooms are clean and well-stocked
Coordination & Support
- Communicate table availability to FOH Supervisor
- Support service crew during busy periods
- Inform management of guest feedback or complaints
Hygiene & Grooming
- Maintain proper uniform, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Follow health and safety standards at all times
Skills & Requirements

Experience & Education
- Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred
- Freshers may apply; training will be provided
