The Cashier is responsible for handling billing transactions accurately, maintaining

financial records, ensuring secure cash handling, and delivering courteous customer

service. In a jewellery retail environment, the role requires high attention to detail,

integrity, and adherence to strict security and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities

1 Billing & Payment Processing
- Process sales transactions accurately (cash, card, UPI, bank transfer).
- Generate invoices and ensure correct pricing, discounts, and tax calculations.
- Verify product codes, gold weight, and certification details before billing.
- Issue receipts and explain payment breakdown to customers.

2 Cash Handling & Reconciliation
- Maintain cash drawer with accuracy and accountability.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation and submit reports to management.
- Ensure proper handling of high-value jewellery transactions.




- Report discrepancies immediately to Store Manager.

3 Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure adherence to company billing policies and GST regulations.
- Maintain transaction records and required KYC documentation (if applicable).
- Support internal and external audits.

4 Customer Service
- Greet customers professionally at billing counter.
- Address billing queries and resolve issues politely.
- Coordinate with sales team for smooth checkout experience.

5 Operational Support
- Assist in inventory tagging and barcode verification.
- Support stock counts and documentation when required.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of billing counter.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
