Job Title:
- Director of Physical Education & Sports

Job Summary:
- Lead and manage all sports and physical education activities for the college. Plan coaching, train teams, organize events, and promote student fitness and sportsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and run sports programs, training sessions, and coaching camps.
- Organize inter‑college, inter‑university, and intra‑college competitions and events.
- Coach and prepare teams for state, national, and university level competitions.
- Manage sports facilities and equipment; maintain inventory and safety standards.
- Develop annual sports calendar and budget; coordinate with departments and external bodies.
- Mentor students on fitness, discipline, and sports careers; encourage participation.
- Maintain records of athlete achievements, attendance, and event reports.
- Represent the college in sports committees and liaise with affiliating university and sports associations.

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Physical Education / Sports Science or equivalent (minimum 55% or as per university rules).




- PhD in Physical Education preferred (if applicable).

Experience & Achievements
- Minimum 4 years experience in physical education, coaching, or sports administration (or as per college rules).
- Proven record of coaching athletes/teams at college, university, state, or national level.
- Experience in organizing sports events and coaching camps.

Skills & Other Requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of sports rules, training methods, and fitness testing.
- Ability to prepare plans, budgets, and reports.
- Physical fitness and willingness to participate in practical tests during selection.
- Police verification and good qualified references.
