Job Description — Accounts Executive

Location: Kolkata | Reporting to: Accounts Manager

The company serves industrial and infrastructure clients across India, with a focus on quality manufacturing and reliable supply. Role Objective

To support the finance function through accurate accounting, transaction processing and compliance support — ensuring smooth, well-documented day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries and bookkeeping
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare and track invoices, payments and collections
- Assist in GST, TDS and other compliance filings
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations




- Maintain proper documentation and records of all transactions
- Support in monthly closing and MIS preparation
- Coordinate with internal teams for data and documentation

Key Result Areas
- Accuracy and timeliness of all accounting entries
- Proper maintenance of books and records
- Timely processing of payments and invoices
- Support in smooth month-end closure
- Compliance-related data readiness at all times
- Degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Prior exposure to a manufacturing environment preferred
- Working knowledge of GST, TDS and basic compliance requirements
- Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
