Role Description The Senior Wealth Manager will lead client relationships, providing comprehensive financial planning, investment management, and wealth advisory services to individuals, families, and business clients. In this full time hybrid role based in Chennai, the Senior Wealth Manager will meet clients in person and virtually, design and monitor portfolios, review insurance and risk management needs, and develop long-term strategies aligned with client goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing financial situations, preparing detailed proposals and reports, coordinating with internal product and research teams, and ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are met.

The role also involves mentoring junior team members,



participating in business development activities, and contributing to improvements in Techwealth’s advisory processes and digital tools. Some work-from-home flexibility is available, while regular on-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

- Strong Financial Planning skills, including goal-based planning, retirement planning, tax-aware strategies, and cash flow analysis.
- Investment Management and Investments expertise, covering asset allocation, portfolio construction, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.
- Solid Finance and Insurance knowledge, including understanding of financial products, protection planning, and risk mitigation solutions.
- Proven experience (typically 7+ years) in wealth management, private banking, or financial advisory roles, with a track record of managing high-value client relationships.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, CAIA, NISM licenses) are highly beneficial.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and build trust with clients.
- Strong ethics, adherence to regulatory standards, and commitment to client-centric, non-discriminatory practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment from Chennai, collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior colleagues.
