Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Global Sourcing and Procurement team player to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for effectively sourcing materials from global markets, negotiating with suppliers, initiating purchase orders, and managing the procurement process to ensure the timely delivery of projects and materials. You will play a critical role in developing cost-reduction strategies, maintaining supplier relationships, and optimizing the supply chain.
- Responsibilities: Sourcing of materials across global markets Obtain a quote from supplier against identified or requested material Global Sourcing, Justifying & Initiating resource requirement against requisitionsInitiation of Purchase Orders, Negotiation with Suppliers on Pricing, delivery schedules, contracts, etc.,Process purchase orders upon requisitions for products under a flair for negotiation and networking to deliver the projects before deadlines and materials as per requirementsDevelop cost reduction strategies through Sourcing, new technology implementation,



etc,Approval of Purchase Sanctions & Purchase Orders Ensure commercial terms, legal and contractual agreements are specified in all procurement transactionsPrepare Purchase Orders and handle supply chain activities Coordinate with supplier on delivery, conduct a periodical review on progressCoordinate with suppliers for continuous quality improvement and reduction in cost wherever possibleMaintain healthy relationships with suppliers and fulfil their needsEnsure Optimum inventory is maintained for smooth cash flowDevelop long-term supplier relationships and generate, and implement cost reduction ideasAbility to read Engineering drawings and understand Engineered requirements This helps effective planning of production capacity, raw material procurement, current sourcing & cost reduction
