About this Role:
We are seeking a Teradata Vantage Database Administrator with GCP expertise to provide end-to-end operational support for enterprise data platforms within Vodafone Business. This role focuses on database health, performance optimisation, deployment support, incident management and on-call operations in a production setting, ensuring stability, security and service continuity for critical business systems.
What you’ll do:
- Perform regular database health checks and troubleshoot issues in Teradata Vantage running on GCP production environments
- Monitor and troubleshoot daily and weekly database backups to ensure data integrity and recoverability
- Continuously monitor and improve database performance to maintain optimal system operations
- Support BSS releases and server/database patch upgrades to ensure system stability and security compliance
- Manage database housekeeping activities
