Job Title: Material Planning Engineer - Structural Steel

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare raw material requirement plans based on fabrication drawings and production schedules
- Perform quantity take-offs from GA & shop drawings
- Plan procurement of structural steel (plates, beams, channels, angles, pipes, etc.)
- Monitor stock levels, consumption, and maintain min/max inventory levels
- Coordinate with purchase team for timely material availability
- Track supplier lead times and prevent production shortages
- Prepare nesting plans to optimize material utilization and reduce scrap
- Ensure timely material issuance to fabrication team
- Maintain ERP/MRP records and prepare material consumption reports
- Support audits and ensure material traceability (MTC documentation)

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of structural steel materials and fabrication processes




- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings
- Experience in inventory control and material optimization
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / similar)
- Good understanding of material traceability & ISO quality systems
- Robust analytical, planning, and coordination skills
- Proficient in MS Excel

- Zero production stoppage due to material shortage
- Improved inventory turnover ratio
- Reduction in scrap percentage
- On-time material availability

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
