Job Title: NPD Manager - Makeup & Color Cosmetics

Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the complete NPD lifecycle for makeup and color cosmetics from concept to commercialization
- Drive product innovation based on market trends, competitor analysis, and consumer insights
- Currently handling and owning makeup NPD projects, ensuring timely execution and delivery
- Work closely with R&D;, formulation labs, packaging teams, and external vendors for product development
- Manage sourcing of raw materials, pigments, packaging, and innovative components specific to color cosmetics
- Oversee formulation trials, shade development, texture validation, stability testing, and product approvals
- Collaborate with marketing and brand teams for product positioning, claims, and go-to-market strategies
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards for cosmetic products
- Monitor project timelines, costing, and margins to ensure commercial viability




- Lead cross-functional coordination with procurement, supply chain, and operations teams
- Analyze post-launch performance and drive continuous product improvements

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Cosmetics, Chemistry, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in NPD/Product Development in makeup and color cosmetics:
- Solid hands-on experience in currently handling makeup NPD (mandatory)
- In-depth knowledge of formulation, pigments, textures, and packaging in color cosmetics
- Experience working with vendors, labs, and third-party manufacturers (domestic/international preferred)
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced D2C/startup environment

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in D2C beauty or personal care brands
- Strong understanding of beauty trends, shade ranges, and consumer preferences
- Exposure to international sourcing (China/Korea/Europ
