Keeping all safety equipment’s in working condition
- Monitoring & Issuing the permits and follow up for strict compliance of permit system
- Maintaining hydrant system and sprinkler system in operation condition and maintain records.
- Maintenance to be carried out as per schedule for all safety appliances
- Taking round of plant and observing unsafe condition and unsafe act and its compliance. Identify the Near miss & reporting the same.
- Do liaison with service department.
- Training to contract / company employees
- Organizing mock drills, plant safety meetings, walk through audit and central safety committee meetings as per schedule and follow up for its compliance.
- Preparation of departmental SOP.
- To keep a track / record of departmental activities
