Role Description The Medical Coder Trainee role at Annova Solutions is a full-time, in office position based in Indore.



The trainee will review medical records and clinical documentation under supervision to assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes in accordance with coding guidelines and company standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include learning and applying HCC coding principles, assisting in documentation clarification, and supporting accurate capture of risk-adjustable conditions. The role involves collaborating with senior coders and clinical documentation specialists, participating in training sessions, and meeting quality and productivity targets. The trainee will also help maintain data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements while developing core skills for advancement in medical coding.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational Medical Coding and Coding Experience, even at a trainee or internship level.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and Health Information Management principles.
