Role Description The Assistant Professor of Computer Science Engineering role is a full-time, on-site position based at Amity University Patna. The role involves teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in computer science and related disciplines, designing and updating course curricula, and preparing lectures, assignments, and assessments aligned with academic standards. The Assistant Professor will mentor and advise students, guide projects, and support their academic and professional development. The position also includes conducting research, publishing in reputable journals and conferences, participating in departmental and university committees, and contributing to academic events and outreach activities. The successful candidate is expected to maintain an inclusive classroom environment and actively support the university’s mission of excellence in education and research.

Qualifications
Robust foundation in core Computer Science and Computer Science Engineering, with the ability to teach fundamental and advanced topics.




Expertise in Programming and Curriculum Development, including designing syllabi, learning outcomes, and innovative teaching materials.
Knowledge of Data Science and Cybersecurity, with the capability to integrate current industry and research trends into coursework.
Relevant academic qualifications, typically a Ph.D. (or near completion) or a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level, with effective communication, classroom management, and student mentoring skills.
Active or potential research profile, including publications, conference presentations, or industry collaborations in computer science or related domains.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to departmental initiatives, and uphold an inclusive, non-discriminatory academic environment.
