Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities
The Regulation Officer will work as part of a collaborative global regulatory team, supporting RICS’ proactive, risk-based approach to regulation.
With primary responsibility for South and South-East Asia, the role will have overall accountability for the day-to-day delivery of regulatory activity in the region,
while also contributing to regulatory activity globally under the supervision of the Regulatory Manager, Rest of World.
The role plays a key part in maintaining confidence in qualified professionals and regulated firms through effective monitoring, investigation, guidance and engagement.
As a Regulation Officer, you will:
- Support the delivery of RICS’ proactive, risk-based regulation, including monitoring, investigation and disciplinary casework in line with quality standards and KPIs.
- Manage Registration & Compliance activity across Firm Registration and Valuer Registration Schemes, including support for the annual CPD compliance campaign.
- Review and analyse regulatory intelligence, enquiries and concerns to identify potential breaches of the Rules of Conduct and progress or escalate matters appropriately.
