Roles and Responsibilities1. Sample Collection and Handling
- Collect samples from production, raw materials, or designated sources.
- Label, store, and maintain samples properly for testing and reference.
- Ensure proper handling procedures are followed to avoid contamination.

2. Laboratory Testing Support
- Assist in performing routine laboratory tests as per defined procedures.
- Support senior staff during analysis, experiments, and quality checks.
- Prepare materials, solutions, and test requirements for analysis.

3. Documentation and Record Keeping
- Maintain testing records, reports, and laboratory registers.
- Record observations, test results, and daily lab activities.
- Support preparation of reports and audit-related documents.

4. Equipment Maintenance
- Assist in cleaning and maintaining laboratory instruments.
- Support calibration and routine inspection of lab equipment.
- Report any malfunction or repair requirement to the concerned authority.

5. Inventory Management
- Monitor stock of chemicals, reagents, and laboratory consumables.




- Maintain records of inventory usage.
- Inform management regarding replenishment requirements.

6. Safety and Compliance
- Follow laboratory SOPs, safety standards, and quality protocols.
- Use PPE and maintain compliance with safety guidelines.
- Support implementation of housekeeping and safety practices in the lab.

7. Housekeeping and Lab Upkeep
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory area.
- Ensure workstations, tools, and storage areas remain properly arranged.
- Support proper disposal of waste as per guidelines.

8. Coordination and Support
- Coordinate with production, quality, and operations teams when required.
- Support management in inspections and compliance activities.
- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by reporting manager.

Qualification
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in relevant field (Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, Microbiology, etc.)
- Diploma with relevant experience may be cons
