Position Title: Sales Manager - Private Hire

Position Overview:

The Sales Manager - Private Hire is responsible for driving event bookings and optimizing revenue from the club’s meeting and banquet spaces. This role blends sales, client servicing, and F&B; coordination to deliver smooth, memorable events. The ideal candidate brings a solid sales mindset, understands the nuances of luxury hospitality, and enjoys building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Client Servicing
/n
/n
Drive catering and private event sales for meetings, celebrations, and large-format gatherings
/n
Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, planners, and agencies
/n
Understand client needs and tailor event proposals and experiences accordingly
/n
Provide end-to-end support across the event lifecycle: enquiry, site visits, proposal, contract, planning, and execution
/n

Revenue & Strategy
/n
/n
Optimize yields for meeting rooms, banquet spaces, and private hire venues
/n
Work with the Events, F&B;, and Finance teams to create competitive packages
/n
Track sales metrics and share regular updates with the General Manager
/n
Identify new business prospects and partnerships to drive bookings
/n
/n
/n
Event Coordination & Service Excellence
/n
/n
Oversee on-ground execution of key events to ensure delivery as promised
/n
Collaborate closely with the Events, F&B;, Culinary, and Operations teams
/n
Ensure all client expectations are met (or exceeded), resolving concerns as needed
/n
Stay updated on trends in the events and catering space to keep offerings fresh and competitive
/n

Skills & Qualifications:

/n
4–6 years of experience in event sales, catering, or hospitality sales
/n
Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and delivering premium client experiences
/n
