Job Brief:
- AU Small Finance Bank Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Sales department as a Relationship Manager specializing in Current and Savings Accounts (CV & CE). This role is pivotal in driving customer acquisition, retention, and growth by managing and nurturing relationships with individual and corporate clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial products, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in sales within the financial services sector. This position demands strategic thinking, robust negotiation capabilities, and the ability to deliver customized banking solutions that align with clients' financial goals while contributing to the bank's growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to achieve sales targets for Current and Savings Accounts.
- Identify client needs and provide tailored financial solutions, ensuring alignment with the bank’s product offerings and compliance standards.
- Conduct detailed market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities and enhance customer acquisition strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including credit,
operations, and risk management to ensure seamless onboarding and servicing of clients.
- Monitor and manage portfolio performance, proactively addressing client concerns and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies while managing client documentation and account maintenance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, client feedback, and market trends to senior management.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long-term partnerships.
- Organize and participate in client engagement activities, seminars, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and customer loyalty.
- Train and mentor junior sales staff to build a high-performing team aligned with the bank’s strategic goals.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
