Role Objective:
We are looking for someone who can watch long podcast episodes and extract multiple high-performing short-form content pieces (Reels/Shorts).
Your job is NOT to create new topics—your job is to find gold inside existing content and turn it into viral clips that drive reach, relatability, and engagement
Key Responsibilities:
- Podcast Content Extraction:
- Watch full podcast episodes carefully
- Identify:
- High-emotion moments
- Relatable insights
- Strong opinions
- Story-driven segments
- Extract multiple short-form content ideas from each episode
- Clip Selection Intelligence:
- Pick “good lines”
- Pick moments where:
- Audience will feel something
- Curiosity is triggered
- Retention is high
- You should understand: Which 30 - 60 seconds can stop someone from scrolling
- Story Restructuring:
- Improve clips by:
- Rearranging sequence
- Adding context (start from a stronger point)
- Removing unnecessary parts
- Turn raw clips into tight, engaging mini-stories
- Hook Thinking (VERY SIGNIFICANT):
- Suggest strong hook lines for each clip
- Hooks should create: Curiosity, Shock, Relatability, Emotional pull within first 3 seconds
- Content Repurposing:
- Watch 1 podcast multiple times
- Generate reels (15 - 25) / podcast
- Think in different angles, different hooks, different audience triggers
- Audience Engagement Thinking:
- Understand:
- Why will someone watch till the end?
- Why will they share it
- Focus on relatability (Indian audience), Emotional connection, Real-life problems
You Must Understand
- How reels/shorts work
- What makes content watchable, not just informative
- Indian audience psychology (Gen-Z + young professionals)
- Emotions that drive engagement: Fear, Confusion, ambition, and Validation
