Role Description The HEMM Maintenance Incharge is a full-time, on-site role based in Dhenkanal (Tata steel Meramandali), responsible for overseeing the maintenance of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery (HEMM) used in steel industry operations. This role involves planning and executing preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, monitoring equipment performance, and ensuring minimal downtime. The individual will supervise maintenance teams,



coordinate with operations and procurement for spare parts and tools, and maintain maintenance records and reports. Daily tasks include troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring compliance with company maintenance procedures. The role also requires continuous evaluation of maintenance practices to improve reliability, cost efficiency, and equipment lifespan.
Qualifications

Robust knowledge of Heavy Earth Moving Machinery maintenance, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Experience in planning and implementing preventive and corrective maintenance in industrial, mining or road construction environments.
Ability to supervise maintenance teams, allocate tasks, and monitor performance effectively.
Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, equipment drawings, and maintenance documentation.
Familiarity with safety regulations, risk assessment, and safe work practic
