Job Title

Academic Counsellor

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound calls to generate leads and inform prospects about courses, fees, and admissions.
- Provide counseling on program details, career paths, and suitable course selections based on student profiles.
- Assist with academic planning, major selection, and alignment with student strengths and goals.
- Connect students to resources like financial aid and mental health support.
- Address personal or social challenges impacting decisions.
- Manage confidential student records and interactions.
- Facilitate enrollments, paperwork, and follow-ups to secure admissions.
- Handle inbound queries and maintain updated student data.
- Stay informed on academic trends, offerings, and industry needs.

Qualifications

Graduate with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Working Conditions

Working Hours:9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Working Days:Monday - Friday + 1st, 3rd, 5th Saturdays

Break Timings:Tea Break: 11:30-11:45 AM and 4:00-4:15 PM | Lunch Break: 1:30-2:00 PM

Probation Period:3 months (extendable/terminable based on performance)

Holidays:18 national holidays + 2nd and 4th Saturdays

Compensation

Salary / CTC:Up to₹25,000 per month

Taxation & Deductions:Subject to tax and statutory deductions as per Income Tax guidelines

Increment & Promotions:Annual, based on performance, targets, responsibilities, and conduct
