External Job Description

Role Summary:Responsible for plant mechanical maintenance, breakdown handling, preventive maintenance, inspections, and compliance as per defined standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Attend and resolve line breakdowns
Execute PM as per schedule and maintain records
Follow SAP engineering workflows
Conduct inspections as per SMS/EMS
Prepare shift reports and communicate with block in‑charge
Implement 5S, TPM initiatives and SOP audits
Ensure daily machine checklists are completed

Qualification & Eligibility:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Maximum Age: 26 years
Experience: 1–3 years (Chemical/Pharma preferred)

Skills & Knowledge:

O&M; of pumps, valves, reactors, mixers/agitators, MHEs
Knowledge of utilities: compressors, chillers, WTP, boilers
Basic AutoCAD knowledge preferred
SAP (Plant Maintenance) exposure preferred
Proficient in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
