Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you are responsible for aligning HR practices with business objectives, driving HR initiatives, and managing the full employee lifecycle. This role will oversee country-specific HR operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, employee engagement, and alignment with global HR policies. As Regional HR Business Partner for South & East Asia, you will provide strategic and operational human resources support to business leaders and employees in India, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Partner with senior leaders to provide strategic HR support aligned with business goals. Act as a trusted advisor on talent management, employee relations, performance, and organizational development.
- Drive and implement HR programs, support change management, lead engagement initiatives, and manage country‑specific HR projects. Continuously improve HR processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Ensure full compliance with local employment laws and maintain accurate employee master data. Oversee employee relations issues, including disputes, performance concerns, and Code of Conduct matters.
- Collaborate with finance, legal, and other functions to manage HR‑related costs and processes. Maintain confidential employee records and ensure compliance with GDPR and local data protection regulations.
- Lead HR activities across the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding. Track relevant HR KPIs (e.g., engagement, retention, talent development) to demonstrate business impact.
