Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical codes.
- Diagnose electrical issues and troubleshoot faults in wiring and components.
- Test electrical systems for safety, continuity, and efficiency.
- Install and repair lighting fixtures, outlets, circuit breakers, and transformers.
- Follow local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other construction and maintenance professionals as needed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as an electrician or in a related field.
Education: Diploma, certification, or apprenticeship in electrical work.
License:
Valid electrician’s license (if required in your location).
Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations.
Physical Ability: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for long hours.
Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and fix electrical issues effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with industrial electrical work.
- Knowledge of HVAC electrical systems.
- Ability to operate testing equipment and power tools.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
