Job Title: Communications

Location: Mumbai

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organization’s communication strategy aligned with programmatic and institutional goals.
- Shape key messaging frameworks and ensure clarity and consistency across platforms.
- Craft compelling impact stories, case studies, articles, and public-facing content.
- Translate field insights and technical content into clear, structured narratives.
- Develop visual summaries and structured decks for fundraising and external communication.
- Lead end-to-end graphic design across print, digital, and social media platforms.
- Create short-form videos (program stories, event highlights, campaign reels).
- Develop and manage communication calendars aligned with donor requirements.
- Oversee website content, newsletters, and digital communication outputs.
- Ensure consistency in tone, brand voice, and visual alignment across all platforms.
- Prepare print-ready files and platform-optimized assets (DPI, bleed, CMYK/RGB).
- Guide and mentor junior designers/communication team members (if applicable).




- Coordinate with program teams for timely documentation and content collection.
- Vendor management.

Core Skills & Competencies
- Strong writing and structuring skills.
- Strong graphic design fundamentals command over typography, layout, hierarchy, and color; ability to create original collaterals beyond templates.
- Visual storytelling ability converting text-heavy content into infographics and compelling visual narratives.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video tools (Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve); familiarity with Canva/Figma.
- Video editing skills including basic motion graphics, transitions, color correction, and sound balancing.
- Structured thinking with high attention to detail and deadline management.
- Solid stakeholder management and cross-team collaboration skills.
