Retail Sweet Salesman - Job Responsibilities
- Greet customers politely and understand their requirements
- Sell sweets, snacks, bakery items, and related products
- Maintain proper display, cleanliness, and hygiene of the sales counter
- Handle weighing, packing, and labeling of sweets accurately
- Operate billing/POS machine and collect cash, UPI, or card payments
- Ensure correct pricing and avoid over
- or under-billing
- Maintain daily sales records and report to the supervisor/unit manager
- Assist in stock checking and inform management about low stock
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company SOPs strictly
- Handle customer complaints or queries in a polite and qualified manner
- Support promotional offers and festive sales activities
- Ensure opening and closing of counter as per company guidelines
