Job Title: Regional Placement Manager
Department: Placements / Livelihoods
Location: Regional Office
Reporting To: National Head Placement
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary The role is responsible for driving youth employment and education outcomes by building strong employer partnerships, generating employment opportunities, coordinating job drives, and supporting youth in sustaining their employment or education placements.
Key Responsibilities
Placement & Employer Engagement
- Drive successful youth placements across employment, training and further education.
- Generate high-volume, relevant employment opportunities for youth.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with recruiters across multiple industry sectors.
- Develop opportunities for final placements, internships, work experience, workplace visits and guest lectures.
- Generate employer leads and support timely placement of youth.
- Build a strong recruiter database and maintain updated employer information.
Employer Partnership Development
- Identify and onboard new employers and strengthen relationships with existing recruiters.
- Conduct employer due diligence before onboarding new employers.
- Participate in HR conferences, NHRD meets, industrial exposure activities and other networking platforms to develop employer contacts.
- Work closely with employers and training partners to create sustainable placement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with external training organizations and colleges.
Job Drives & Placement Coordination
- Prepare job-drive and employer-connect calendars aligned with program plans.
- Coordinate with Program Managers and Centre Managers to organize and execute job drives.
- Create clear referral processes with training partners and employers.
- Support the program team in converting employer leads into successful placements.
- Work closely with regional and district teams to continuously improve placement and training outcomes.
Youth Engagement & Post-Placement Support
- Work with Centre Managers to ensure youth remain engaged and attend planned training sessions.
- Support youth through mentoring, career progression and employer-related activities.
- Provide post-placement support to help youth sustain employment or education outcomes for up to six months.
- Motivate youth to achieve their career, employment and further education goals.
- Act as a role model and demonstrate professional behaviours that contribute to youth success.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Track placement progress against program targets and KPIs.
- Collect, analyze and maintain placement-related data and delivery evidence.
- Prepare and present periodic placement reports to the Regional Director and National Head.
- Support the Head – Placement in developing a strong network of top employers for the organization.

- Willingness to work with diverse stakeholders and travel as required.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences or a relevant discipline.
- 6–8 years of relevant experience in working with youth, employers and/or the skill-development ecosystem.
- Experience in employability, job placement, youth development or vocational training programs.
- Experience in employer partnership development, referrals and partner monitoring.
- Understanding of different industry sectors and employment opportunities.
- Experience working with youth aged 18–25 years, particularly from disadvantaged communities.
- Knowledge of youth career progression into employment or further education.
- Experience engaging with stakeholders such as parents, schools, colleges and local community institutions.
