Job Description: Lab Assistant

Role: Assists the Science Teacher / Coordinator in implementing a science laboratory program for the school

students.

Reporting: The employee will report directly to the HOD / Administrator / Principal.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the day to day Lab activities in the School.

2. Assists in setting up laboratory equipment for science class.

3. Assists Science Teacher /Coordinators in testing out new laboratory experiments prior to classroom

implementation.

4. Assists students in usage of laboratory equipment.

5. Maintains inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies.

6. Informs Science Teacher as to when recent supplies and equipment is needed.

7. Keeps laboratory equipment clean and in good working order.

8. Collects and distributes textbooks & materials as required by the school.

9. Prepare samples for testing using various types of laboratory equipment

10. Perform laboratory testing along with the teachers/Coordinators when required.

Prepare and maintain accurate laboratory records

12. Label specimens accurately and appropriate maintained in the different Labs.

13. Perform quality control as directed by the HOD/ Principal.

14. Regular MIS is presented to the HOD/ Principal.

15. All urgent and important issues are brought to the notice of the HOD / Principal immediately.

16. All administrative documents are regularly updated and well maintained.

17. Undertake other duties as directed by the HOD / Principal.

18. Attending workshops and meeting conducted by the HOD/ Principal.

19. Undertake other duties as directed by the HOD/ Principal.

The Management reserves its right to add to, modify or rework the above job responsibilities at its discretion

from time to time.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
