Job Description - Production Supervisor (Edible Oil Manufacturing)

Location: Bhadaj, Santej Road, Ahmedabad.

Role Summary:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day production operations in the edible oil plant, ensuring smooth production flow, quality compliance, safety, and optimum utilization of manpower and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily production activities including refining, filtration, packing, and dispatch coordination
- Ensure production targets are met as per plan while maintaining quality and cost efficiency
- Monitor machine operations, breakdowns, and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs
- Ensure strict adherence to FSSAI, GMP, hygiene, and safety standards on the shop floor
- Check raw material, packing material usage, wastage, and yield as per defined norms
- Maintain and verify daily production records, batch logs,



downtime reports, and shift reports
- Supervise production staff, helpers, and operators; manage shift allocation and discipline
- Ensure correct labeling, packing standards, weight accuracy, and batch traceability
- Coordinate with quality, stores, and dispatch teams for smooth plant operations
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance documentation as and when required

Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in edible oil manufacturing (mandatory):
- Hands-on knowledge of oil processing, packing lines, and plant operations
- Solid understanding of FSSAI norms, hygiene practices, and safety procedures
- Leadership skills to manage shop-floor manpower and meet daily production goals

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
