JOB DESCRIPTION
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited (APSEZ) is the largest commercial ports operator in India accounting for nearly one-fourth of the cargo movement in the country. Its presence across 15 domestic ports in seven maritime states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Odisha presents the most widespread national footprint with deepened hinterland connectivity. Role Purpose
This role plays a crucial role in supporting the Marketing Head in customer acquisition and retention strategies. This position is responsible for achieving budgeted volume and revenue targets for dry cargo commodities such as minerals, fertilizers, breakbulk, project cargo, and other assigned categories.
Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition Support:




Assist the Marketing Head in developing and executing strategies to acquire recent customers and retain existing ones, ensuring achievement of budgeted volume and revenue targets for assigned dry cargo commodities, including minerals, fertilizers, breakbulk, and project cargo.
Proposal and Contract Management:
Prepare and send proposals to clients, and draft contracts upon business finalization, ensuring timely communication and adherence to organizational standards.
Opportunity Identification:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities and execute sales plans to expand market share.
Customer Relationship Management:
Provide superior customer service by analyzing and verifying order information promptly, implementing corrective actions as needed to uphold high service standards and customer satisfaction.
Accounts Receivable Management:
Follow up on payments and support the business development of assigned commoditi
