We are seeking a Java Technical Lead who is deeply robust in system design, design patterns, and backend architecture. You will own the technical direction of critical backend services, define architectural standards, and lead a team of engineers to build scalable, resilient, and high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end system design and architecture for key backend services and platforms.
Define and drive system architecture decisions: service boundaries, decomposition strategies, integration patterns, and data models.
Apply and institutionalize design patterns and architectural styles (layered, hexagonal, DDD, CQRS, event-driven, etc.).
Lead design and implementation of scalable microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems (REST/gRPC/GraphQL as needed).
Create and maintain design documents, architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, and API contracts.
Conduct rigorous design reviews and code reviews; ensure adherence to architectural and coding standards.
Mentor senior, mid, and junior engineers on clean design, modularity, performance, and reliability.




Partner with product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and SRE to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Drive non-functional requirements: scalability, latency, throughput, availability, resilience, observability, and security.
Define technology standards, evaluate new tools/frameworks, and contribute to the long-term architecture roadmap.
Lead incident analysis and post-mortems from an architectural and system-design perspective.
Must-Have Skills
12+ years of strong Java backend development experience; 2+ years in a lead / tech lead / architect capacity.
Expert-level understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, and system design principles.
Proven track record of designing large-scale distributed systems and microservices architectures.
Deep expertise with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Cloud, Spring Data, Spring Security, etc.).
