Role Description The Reddit Marketer role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Chennai, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The role involves planning and executing Reddit marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, drive engagement, and generate qualified leads for IECHM’s manufacturing and product development services. Day-to-day tasks include identifying relevant subreddits, creating and posting content, participating in community discussions, and building relationships with moderators and community members in an authentic, policy-compliant manner.

Marketer will monitor performance metrics, conduct A/B testing on posts and campaigns, and refine approaches based on data insights. Collaboration with the design, engineering, and sales teams is expected to translate complex technical offerings into clear, compelling narratives suitable for Reddit’s audience.

Qualifications

- Solid Reddit-focused marketing skills, including subreddit research, community engagement, and campaign planning.
- Content creation abilities such as copywriting, storytelling, and basic visual content coordination tailored to online communities.
- Digital marketing and analytics skills, including understanding of social media KPIs, A/B testing, and performance reporting.
- Community management capabilities, including conflict resolution, adherence to platform rules, and ethical, non-spammy outreach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment in Chennai, collaborating with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, and sales.
- Prior experience in social media marketing, growth marketing, or online community management; experience with B2B or manufacturing domains is a plus.

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
