JOB DESCRIPTION:
A Lighting and Texturing Artist is a vital contributor to the visual effects team, specializing in creating lifelike textures and manipulating light to bring CGI to life. This role involves generating photorealistic textures from scratch, ensuring they seamlessly integrate into the 3D environment,



and adjusting lighting to enhance the overall visual appeal of CGI content.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lighting: Implement and adjust lighting setups to complement textures and the overall scene, ensuring a coherent visual output.
- Texture Creation: Produce photorealistic textures from scratch, adhering to technical and aesthetic standards across various projects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with modelers, look development artists, and lighting teams to ensure textures and lighting schemes are technically and aesthetically harmonious.
- Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior artists, fostering a cooperative and educational environment.
- Problem-Solving: Address and solve technical issues related to texturing and lighting within the CGI pipeline.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all texturing and lighting work meets project requirements and client expectations.
