Job Title: BESS Integration Engineer

What You Will Do
Own end-to-end integration of a 100 to 200 kW C&I; BESS: module-to-rack assembly, busbar and DC wiring, LV/AC wiring, BMS installation and configuration, thermal system fit-out, fire suppression fit-out
Define the assembly sequence, torque specs, wiring plan, and quality checkpoints; build the SOPs and checklists this program will scale on
Lead FAT: insulation resistance, hipot, continuity, IP verification, functional and charge/discharge testing, with full documentation
Work with our enclosure fabrication vendors on design-for-assembly feedback
Train and supervise one fitter/electrician during the build




Support commissioning at the customer site

Must have
5 to 10 years in lithium battery pack or ESS manufacturing/integration, with at least 2 years above single-pack level (rack, cabinet, or container)
You have personally assembled, wired, and commissioned battery systems. This is a hands-on role, not a supervisory one. Be ready to walk us through torque specs, busbar prep, and BMS CAN faults you have resolved yourself
Working knowledge of LFP systems, BMS commissioning, and safety standards (IEC 62619, UL1973; exposure to UL9540/NFPA 855 a plus)
Comfortable with FAT documentation discipline: test records, dimensional reports, traceability

Good to have
Experience at a BESS or pack OEM (Delta, Amara Raja, Cygni, Exicom, Grinntech, Okaya, HBL, Nexcharge or similar)
HV safety certification, C&I; or grid-connected system exposure
Tamil helpful, not mandatory
