About The Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior UI Developer with practical experience in React.js and Next.js to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining responsive, user-friendly web interfaces that enhance our educational platform. This role offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with 2-3 years of hands-on frontend development experience to grow their skills within a supportive and innovative environment.

You will collaborate closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver seamless and engaging digital experiences for our users. Your contributions will directly impact the usability and performance of our platform, ensuring that our educational tools are accessible and enjoyable across all devices.

Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in frontend development with practical experience in React.js and Next.js. A good understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 is essential.



Candidates should have experience building responsive web applications and reusable UI components, along with familiarity with state management tools like Redux or Redux Toolkit.

Knowledge of frontend build tools such as Webpack or Vite, as well as version control systems like Git, is required. A background in UI development principles, browser compatibility, and responsive design is necessary. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are also essential to succeed in this role.

Educational qualifications include a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree, with practical frontend skills and hands-on development experience being highly valued.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain dynamic, responsive web interfaces using React.js and Next.js, ensuring optimal performance and user experience. Convert UI/UX designs and wireframes into clean, reusable, and maintainable frontend components that align with best practices. Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services to facilitate seamless data flow and functionality.

Implement and manage application state using Redux or Redux Toolkit, ensuring consistency across different parts of the application. Ensure the platform provides a uniform user experience across various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

Collaborate effectively with UI/UX designers, backend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver new features and enhancements. Participate actively in code reviews,



adhering to coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality. Troubleshoot and resolve UI issues, functionality bugs, browser compatibility problems, and performance bottlenecks.

Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, tools, and development practices to continually improve the quality and efficiency of the development process. Contribute to the documentation of technical specifications and assist in testing and deployment activities as needed.
